Nancy Goldstone loves medieval history and old books and is the author, most recently, of The Maid and the Queen: The Secret History of Joan of Arc. She has written both fiction and non-fiction and at one point even co-authored a number of books with her husband Lawrence until she and Larry gave up writing together in order to save what was left of the dishes.
