Steve Martin has had huge success as a film actor with such credits as Roxanne, Father of the Bride and The Jerk. He has received Emmys for his television writing and two Grammys for comedy albums. In 1993 his first original play, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, was produced to rave reviews. His recent films include David Mamet's The Spanish Prisoner and Bowfinger.
