Deborah Chester is a full-time tenured professor at the University of Oklahoma writing program. She is also a graduate of the program, and her first published novel--a YA historical romance--was done as her student project. She has been writing science fiction and fantasy for Ace books for close to twenty years, sometimes pseudonymously.
