Annette is a suit-clad, city-slicking accountant by day and as soft as butter by night. She is the quiet and caring voice of reason in The Fat Ladies Club, but this first impression of a demure, straight laced lady should not be taken at face value.
Tragically in April 2000, Annette died of cancer. One sixth of all authors' profits from The Fat Ladies Club will go to a colon cancer charity.
