Gerald Chertavian is the founder and CEO of Year Up. A former technology entrepreneur and Wall Street banker, Chertavian is one of America’s leading social entrepreneurs. He has been recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative and profiled in Time, Fortune, and the New York Times. He serves on the boards of Bowdoin College, the Boston Foundation, the Harvard Business School Social Enterprise Initiative, and the Massachussets State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. A graduate of Bowdoin College and Harvard Business School, he lives in Cambridge with his wife and three children.
