Jim Crofton is the Chief Financial Officer of Penguin Group (USA) Inc. Jim oversees all the financial areas including cost accounting, financial and strategic planning as well as financial reporting.
Prior to being named Chief Financial Officer in 2008, Jim was the Vice President Financial Operations at Penguin Group (USA) Inc. from 1999 through 2007. His Publishing experience includes various management roles at Simon & Schuster, Random House and Thomson Corp. In addition to his experience in publishing, Jim has held various financial positions in the Pharmaceutical and Communications sectors.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
