Starter Guide
Account Registration / Sign In

- Select "register" to create a new account (A).
- Create a user account and remember to add a profile photo to identify you in the community.
- Read our Online Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and click the checkbox to confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the Online Privacy Policy and Terms of Use on the site.
- You can now sign into the Penguin Community with your username or email address and password.

- Clicking "My Home" and "Edit My Profile" (B) allow you to add information like favorite books and authors.

- "Getting Started" also allows you to edit your profile, photos, etc. Remember to check the box for "profile photo" when uploading if this is meant to be the profile picture (C).
Groups: Joining A Group
- You can see a list of the available groups by clicking Groups in the navigation menu. Click on an image to view the group (A).

- Join this group by clicking the Join this Group button (B). And now, you're a member.
- Note: You must first join a group if you want your photo or video uploads to be associated with it.
Uploading Media
You can upload videos and photos to share with the whole community and with your groups.
How to upload a Photo

- Click on the 'my home' button to access the 'Get Active' page.
- Click on Add a Photo (A) to open the upload page.

- Click on the Browse button (B) to look for the photo on your computer. Browse for the photo similar to adding an attachment to an email.
- You can also upload a batch of five photos by clicking "Add multiple photos" (C).
- Make sure "A regular photo" is checked if this isn't a profile picture (D).
- Click the checkbox to accept the Penguin Community Online Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (E).
How to upload a Video

- Click on the 'my home' button to access the 'Get Active' page.
- Click on Add a Video (A) to open the upload page.

- Click on the Browse button (B) to look for the video on your computer. Browse for the video similar to adding an attachment to an email.
