Welcome to my page. As the college field rep for the entire east coast, I am excited to help professors select the right Penguin titles for their course needs.

I've spent most of my life on the academic calendar—I was a teacher for several years before moving to academic publishing in 2006. Prior to joining Penguin I was a representative with Oxford University Press' Higher Education division working mostly with textbooks.

I am thrilled to represent Penguin's fantastic list of titles for academic use. This fall semester I will begin visiting many colleges and universities from Maine to Florida (see my schedule below), and I look forward to seeing the many beautiful campuses and friendly faces across the region.

Please feel free to contact me with any interests, questions or suggestions you may have!

Frequently Asked Favorites (FAFs) (to top)

Favorite Hometown?

The mean streets of Philadelphia, PA. Actually…a mile or two from the mean streets of Philadelphia, PA, in a quiet working-class town of post offices, senior citizens, and an occasional rumble of the streetcar (we call them ‘trollies’ out there).

Favorite Book?

The Call of Cthulhu (or any Lovecraft), Reviving Ophelia, The Alchemist

Favorite Lunchtime Musings?

WebBlogs such as Treehugger, Slate, or OverheardinNewYork are all entertaining reads! But usually I go straight to NPR.

Favorite College Campuses?

It's a tie between Swarthmore and the University of Pennsylvania. You can see both on the same train ride out of Philadelphia.
Swarthmore's campus is an arboretum with the best trees anywhere, and the buildings are equally mesmerizing. My favorite building is the cathedral with the fragrance garden inside the walled courtyard.
