Steampunk has been earning quite a bit of buzz recently, but if you aren't familiar with the term, trust me–it's not as alien as it sounds. It begins when a man's naked body is dropped from an airship onto the Iron Duke's front steps, bringing Detective Inspector Mina Wentworth into Rhys Trahaearn's dangerous world. Mina only wants to discover who murdered the poor man–and she definitely doesn't want to attract Rhys's notice. For although the Iron Duke became a hero to all of England when he freed their country from Horde control, his possessive interest could spell the ruin of her career and her family.
But when Mina uncovers the identity of the murdered man and stumbles onto a conspiracy that threatens all of England, the Iron Duke may be her only hope of saving everyone that she loves. With Rhys at her side, Mina must race across oceans and zombie-infested continents, and try to stop herself from falling in love with the one man she can never have. But the Iron Duke has no intention of letting Mina get away…and nothing will stop him from having her.
