Dear Reader Letter from Erin McCarthy and Kathy Love on Fangs For Nothing
Uh-oh, here we go again! And this time the boys in the band are really on a wild goose chase. Or would you believe a wild Cher chase? Five Cher impersonators to be exact. That's right, that vampire band, The Impalers, have gotten slipped yet another spiked beverage and they've awoken once more with awful hangovers and no memory of what happened the previous night. And we are taking you back to the wonderfully seedy and colorful streets of New Orleans.
In this book, not only did we try to make it fun, funny and fast-paced, but we also wanted to truly show you the city we love, for you to hear the crowds, smell the scents (both good and not so good) and just feel the amazing and crazy vibe that is the Big Easy. From the uniqueness of a courtyard wedding in The Quarter to the shabby quaintness of a burlesque bar or to the glitz and over-the-top drama of a trendy dance club, we are sending you through the streets of New Orleans with our boys as they try the solve the mystery that led to yet another night of wild, and definitely ridiculous, debauchery.
This new story is another insight into the absurd minds of Erin and Kathy. If our imaginations ran away with us in The Fangover, they went totally wild in the sequel. Again we each wrote a hero and heroine. Erin wrote the love story of Johnny and Lizette, opposites who find themselves handcuffed together, and Kathy wrote the romantic tale of Drake and Josie Lynn, who are both pretty sure the other is up to no good, but end up bonding over a little gator-wrasslin'. We even bring back a couple old friends. Jack and coke, Jack and coke anyone?
Fangs For Nothing is a wacky and sexy romp through the streets, bars and even a dominatrix dungeon or two of our favorite city. We hope you will find lots of laughs, lots of fun and two couples who will warm your heart with their unusual love stories along the way. Enjoy and remember the words of Cher herself... "Until you're ready to look foolish, you'll never have the possibility of being great."
So Iko Iko and Happy Reading!
Erin and Kathy
